Kelly Ekeler is Special Counsel on the Class Action Counsel team and is based in Nebraska. As a brief writer assigned to class, collective, mass, and representative actions, Kelly formulates and executes briefing strategy, including the development of cutting-edge arguments, and thought leadership on the most pressing class and collection action issues confronting our clients. She evaluates and selects legal authority that supports the facts and circumstances of each case and prepares substantive briefs and motions, including complex dispositive motions, opposition to class certification, motions to compel arbitration, mediation briefs, and other strategic briefing.
Kelly has focused her practice on management-side employment law for the past 15 years. Prior to joining Littler, she represented public and private sector employers in discrimination, termination, and other labor and employment-related matters, including litigation in federal and state courts and administrative proceedings. Her practice also included representing employers in governmental audits and investigations and developing policies and counseling employers to reduce risks of wage and hour violations. She has been with Littler since 2017 and has worked with trial teams nationwide to draft hundreds of briefs in class and collective actions.
