Jared E. Calderon focuses his practice on labor and employment law matters. Jared has drafted various employment agreements, compensation agreements, internal policies and handbooks and performed several workplace investigations. In addition, he has provided counseling on a wide range of employment issues such as wage compliance, noncompete and other restrictive covenants, reductions in force and discrimination.
Prior to joining Litter, Jared was an associate in a national law firm’s labor and employment group. He previously was a judicial intern to the Hon. Kristina A. Karle, at the State of New York County Court, County of Ontario, as well as to the Hon. Charles J. Siragusa, at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.
While in law school, Jared served as a notes and comments editor for the Syracuse Journal of Science and Technology, and was an arguing member of the Advocacy Honor Society’s Trial Division (i.e., moot court).
