This presentation will explore advanced issues related to leaves of absence under the ADA and FMLA, as well as, additional accommodation issues under the ADA. The speakers will discuss best practices for the interactive process and current guidance from the EEOC and courts that impact accommodation decisions. Topics for this informative and practical discussion include:

• Pushing back on certification problems and how to initiate the discussion
• Frustrating requests for reasonable accommodation
• How to handle performance problems in the context of ADA and FMLA
