Andrés DaCosta Herrera

With over two decades of experience in labor law, Andrés DaCosta has held various leadership and strategic advisory roles in renowned law firms and the corporate sector. He is currently a partner at Godoy Córdoba, a firm where he also began his career, building his skill in legal advisory for organizations across multiple industries. Throughout his career, he has been a founding partner of two labor law firms, advising companies in sectors such as energy, public utilities, oil and gas, manufacturing, and commerce.

In the corporate arena, he worked as an industrial relations attorney for one of the country's leading energy companies, where he led key processes in collective labor relations. He has also served in high-level institutional roles, including president of the Voluntary Arbitration Tribunal between Ecopetrol and the USO, and alternate judge of the Labor Chamber of the Superior Court of Bogotá.

His experience also includes consulting for international organizations such as the Organization of American States (OAS) and the International Labour Organization (ILO), contributing to regional projects focused on labor rights and workplace issues. This combination of legal, corporate, and international experience has given him a comprehensive perspective on labor law and a practice centered on delivering strategic solutions for organizations.

He is a scholarship recipient of the Course for Latin American Experts in Labor Relations, ILO Training Center (Turin, Italy), University of Bologna (Italy), University of Castilla La Mancha (Spain).
