Claire Welch advises and represents clients on a wide range of labor and employment law matters.
During law school, Claire clerked for a civil defense firm in Washington, D.C., and clerked for the legal department of a national provider of healthcare and staffing services. Claire also worked as a student caseworker, through a legal clinic, representing coal miners or their survivors in claims for benefits in U.S. Department of Labor Proceedings and on appeal.
At Washington and Lee University School of Law, Claire served as president of the Women Law Student Society and was a symposium editor for the school's Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice.
