Ed Tsui (pronounced "Choi") is an experienced trial attorney who represents companies on a broad range of employment matters. He has extensive experience in appearing before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, including for Labor Code 132(a) discrimination claims, and serious and willful misconduct claims. Focusing on workplace safety and health, he represents employers in Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) appeals. He also represents businesses in employment matters including workplace harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination.

In recent years, his practice focuses on representing gig economy companies and technology companies on classification issues before various agencies. Ed is experienced with the Protect App-Based Drivers and Services Act (also known as Proposition 22) and has been active in appellate matters involving app-based drivers in California.

Ed has served diverse clients including self-insured Fortune 500 corporations, medium sized businesses, uninsured employers, professional employer organizations (PEOs), national staffing agencies, public entities, and major insurance companies in a variety of industries including:
