Overview

Jason T. Hartzell’s practice encompasses all aspects of labor and employment law, including labor negotiations, arbitrations, administrative claims and litigation. He has handled collective bargaining negotiations, representation petitions and unfair labor practices with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the Ohio State Employment Relations Board (SERB). Jason has experience developing and updating policies, procedures, position descriptions and personnel policy handbooks, as well as providing day-to-day guidance on various employment-related issues. In addition, Jason has brought litigation and administrative claims before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC) alleging age, disability, race and religious discrimination. He also has resolved unfair competition/noncompete issues and Ohio workers’ compensation cases.

Prior to joining Littler, Jason worked at a firm that handled public sector labor and employment law matters in Ohio. He negotiated collective bargaining agreements and arbitrations, and provided day-to-day advice on various labor and employment matters.
