Joe St. James works with his clients to ensure policies and practices in the workplace are compliant with the law, even as they change quickly across jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Littler, Joe worked as a labor and employment research attorney for an organization in the University of California system, focusing on disability accommodations, pregnancy and postpartum in the workplace, paid leave laws, and leave discrimination matters. He also helped build resources for employers regarding familial status discrimination as it becomes a protected characteristic in more states and localities.
Joe formerly lived in and completed his undergraduate degree in Canada, so he has an interest in cross-border issues at work.
