Overview

Kelly Ekeler is a member of the Littler CaseSmart® team and is based in Nebraska. As a brief writer assigned to class, collective, mass and representative actions, Kelly formulates and executes briefing strategy. She evaluates and selects legal authority that supports the facts and circumstances of each case and prepares substantive briefs and motions, including complex dispositive motions, class certification motions and other strategic briefing.

Kelly also has experience representing public and private sector employers in discrimination, termination, and other labor and employment-related matters, including litigation in federal and state courts and administrative proceedings. Kelly has also successfully represented employers in governmental audits and investigations.

Prior to joining Littler, she worked in the prominent labor and employment sections of two firms where her practice included developing policies and counseling employers to reduce risks of wage and hour violations.
