(June 28, 2018) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labor law practice representing management, has appointed Shareholders James Frederick (Dallas) and Lauren Schwartzreich (New York) as co-chairs of its Pride affinity group. Frederick and Schwartzreich succeed Shareholder Kevin Kraham (Washington, D.C.), who maintains his active practice while also serving on the firm’s Associates Committee. Frederick and Schwartzreich assumed the leadership roles in conjunction with the affinity group’s biennial meeting, which was held in Minneapolis over this past weekend.

James A. Frederick represents and counsels employers on a broad range of employment matters, including discrimination and harassment, retaliation, workplace policies and LGBTQ discrimination training. He also currently serves as a member of the firm’s award-winning Career Advocacy Program. Frederick recently participated in the firm’s Littler Celebrates series, which showcases diverse attorneys and those individuals who have inspired their lives.
Active in the legal community, Frederick is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, the Lambda Legal Dallas Leadership Committee and the Dallas Diversity Taskforce. He earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and his B.A. from the University of Texas in Austin.
Lauren E. Schwartzreich assists Littler clients on all aspects of electronic discovery, including initial preservation obligations; developing strategies for efficient and effective data harvesting, review and production; implementing cost-shifting/cost-reduction strategies; and the admissibility of electronic evidence at trial. She has extensive trial experience and handles court appearances and motion practice on matters relating to eDiscovery. Schwartzreich also frequently speaks and publishes on eDiscovery, social media, privacy and litigation technology issues.
In addition to her role as co-chair of Littler’s Pride affinity group, Schwartzreich was a 2017 Fellow for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellows Program, and serves as a member of the Steering Committee for The Sedona Conference® Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production (WG-1), and as the program chair for the 12th Annual National Institute on E-Discovery of the American Bar Association. Schwartzreich is licensed to practice in New York and Washington, D.C. She earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law and her B.A. from Emory University.
