TORONTO (October 3, 2022) – Littler, the world’s largest employment and labour law practice representing management, is pleased to announce that Adrian Jakibchuk has rejoined the firm as a partner in its Toronto office.
“We are excited to welcome Adrian back to Littler. As an accomplished practitioner with a strong labour practice and track record of success, he will be a significant asset to our clients and Toronto team,” said Erin Webber, Littler’s managing director and president. “His return, combined with the recent string of lateral additions across the firm’s offices worldwide, underscores all that Littler has to offer including our deep employment and labour law capabilities, inclusive culture and forward-thinking approach to providing quality client service.”
Jakibchuk brings almost 20 years of experience in employment and labour law, guiding employers through all stages of the employment cycle. He regularly advises and represents clients in matters concerning human rights, employment standards, labour board hearings and collective agreement negotiations and administration, among others. Jakibchuk frequently appears before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and labour arbitrators and mediators. Additionally, he has written numerous articles published in leading legal publications and has presented on various topics at prominent employment and labour law conferences.
“Adrian’s return is a testament to our office’s strong platform and extensive client service offerings,” said Sari Springer, Littler’s Toronto office managing partner. “With nearly two decades of experience and an in-depth familiarity with Littler, we’re confident Adrian will be able to jump right back in and help our client’s navigate important workplace issues in a practical and sophisticated manner.”
“Returning to Littler feels like a homecoming and I look forward to rejoining my colleagues in Toronto. As the world changed these past few years, so too has the firm, which has also grown immensely and continued to develop leading-edge legal solutions,” Jakibchuk said. “I am excited to work alongside both new and former colleagues as we continue to deliver high-quality and forward-thinking counsel to our clients.”
Jakibchuk received his J.D. from the University of Toronto and his H.B.A., with distinction, from Ivey Business School.
