Guatemalan Minimum Wage Increases
New Order or Decree

The following increases in minimum wages became effective across the country on January 1, 2024:
Economic Zone 1 (Guatemala Department):
- 6.0% for agricultural activities
- 6.6% for non-agricultural activities
- 6.6% for maquilas and exports
Economic Zone 2 (Guatemala Department):
- 4.3% for agricultural activities
- 4.6% for non-agricultural activities
- 3.6% for maquilas and exports
